At-home testing, explained
Every test Diagnik sells is an instant test you run and read yourself. Nothing is posted to a laboratory, and nobody sends you a result days later.
What makes these tests different
- You collect the sample — a gum swab, a fingerstick or a vaginal swab.
- The test runs where you are, in 15 to 40 minutes depending on the test.
- You read the result yourself, from the card that comes in the box.
- There is no sample to mail and no waiting for a lab report.
Privacy by design
- No account is needed. Checkout is as a guest.
- Plain, unbranded outer box — no test names on the outside.
- A neutral company name on your card statement.
- Diagnik never stores your test result. There is no field in our systems for it.
What an at-home test can and cannot do
A self-test tells you whether a screening result is reactive or non-reactive on the sample you collected, at the moment you collected it. That is genuinely useful, and it is not the same as a diagnosis.
Any reactive result needs confirmatory testing by a clinician. Timing also matters: testing too soon after a possible exposure can produce a negative result even when an infection was transmitted.
Choosing between tests
Different infections need different samples, so no single at-home test covers everything. If you are not sure which one applies to your situation, the questionnaire narrows it to one option in about a minute using your symptoms, timing and anatomy.
