At-home gonorrhea testing
Gonorrhea is one of three infections reported by the Visby Women's Sexual Health Test, which runs a self-collected vaginal swab at home in about 30 minutes.

How it works
- Self-collect a vaginal swab.
- Insert it into the single-use device.
- Read gonorrhea, chlamydia and trichomoniasis results after about 30 minutes.
What it does not cover
- Throat and rectal infection.
- People with a penis — we have no instant at-home option for that anatomy.
- HIV and syphilis, which need their own tests.
After the result
- Positive: clinician-prescribed treatment, and partner notification.
- Negative: retest or seek care if symptoms persist.
- Invalid: no result; the device did not complete its run.

- Can I treat gonorrhea myself after a positive at-home test?
- No. Treatment must be prescribed by a clinician following current guidance, partly because of antibiotic resistance.
- Does the test tell chlamydia and gonorrhea apart?
